My calendar opens at 5pm on the 1st of every month for the following month (i.e. 1st Feb for appointments in March) for new clients. I strongly advise setting a reminder as appointments book up very quickly, usually within 48 hours.

I do not run any kind of waiting list or cancellation list as I am just a one woman band so all cancellations are posted on my social media stories and are on a first come first served basis.

To ensure you see any cancellations first you set notifications for my instagram stories by clicking the bell in the right hand corner of my profile.

When you arrive we will have a chat about your aims for the session, how you are feeling, how you want to feel after and if there are anyway areas you would like prioritised. You will then be left to remove the relevant items of clothing (Don’t go removing your underpants though, that’s a no no from me!) & then your session will start. We can chat or you can just relax, I will always follow your lead.

Afterwards I will leave the room again to let you come around and take your time getting ready. After any session drinking plenty of water is a must and avoiding any caffeine and alcohol is always advisable.

Makara Monthly is for existing clients only to prioritise my regulars. When you book your first appointment at Makara Therapy you are given the option to join. This will give you early access to my booking calendar, special discounts and more.

As a small business I have to maintain a strict policy to protect my income.

- Any appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of appointment time will be charged 50% of their appointment cost.

- Same day (after 9pm the night before) or failure to attend with no notice will be charged 100% of their appointment cost.

Email and text reminders are sent out 72 hours prior to all appointments giving you a little nudge incase you forget and plenty of time to cancel with no charge.
